Always thought your foursquare check-ins would go unnoticed? Well, that’s not the case, especially if the venue you just checked into is a food place featured on FoodCrew.
A while back we thought about turning one of our hobbies into an online publishing project. First we started writing about places where you can eat out in Timişoara. One thing led to another and we began tweaking the WordPress blog setup. Now we decided to use foursquare for our latest set of features.

We decided to include the tips associated to each venue in our reviews, thus adding relevant information foursquare users share. Besides showcasing tips, the mayor of each venue is displayed, along with the total number of check-ins for that location.
Since we already had this pretty list of venues and check-in count for each of them, we thought the decent thing to do is to display a top of the hottest locations in town.
So there you have it – foursquare plugged into WordPress for a noble cause! And as far as we know it’s a first for Romania

Mai multe ne-a povestit Alex Albu vineri. Puteți găsi câteva detalii și aici. [...]
am citit undeva ca ar exista un plugin pentru asta dar nu il gasesc. nu ati publicat pluginul?
Urmează să-l facem public. Mai e de lucru la el. Momentan e adaptat doar pentru foodcrew.ro
